Why are we having a food crisis?

Gosh..
I am so confused already lol!

Last Monday we were supposed to go to a salon because i will be having a haircut.
So before arriving to the place, of course we need a car. Haha~
So, since our car is unavailable at that time, so we rode a taxi.

Haha~
Did you know that, the taxi driver was cool.
Why?
He's a good talker. Haha!
He had a talk with us (my brother, mom and I) haha..

He opened a topic and opened up my mind.
He said that why are we having a crisis in rice if the biggest source of rice is in the Philippines?

You know that really left a "?" on my mind. Why?
In Mindanao; the "palayans" or the rice field are so wide, i mean the source of rice there is really huge. Haha, it can feed us for how many years lol.
And I think that's why we are having this unmeant crisis is just all because of our politicians who are KORAKOT! haha..
There are so many government projects in the Philippines but put this in mind.
Haha~
If the government will give a 50 billion pesos for a project.
Guess what, the money that will be put for a project will be half haha.
Maybe politicians think that on every project they will have a 50%+ share. hahaha,,


But what can we do we're just a resident and a follower, but soon everything will be revealed. haha~

And the driver told me that before he have a Iraqi passenger.
The Iraqi said

The Philippines is a rich country, but why are they a poor country?
They have all the resources, he even said that In Iraq they need to buy water but here in the Philippines we're just wasting it

So why are we a poor country?
