Books Oh Books

Hi Everyone. How are you all doing?

It has been quite some time that I did not post any random thoughts around here. The reason for that is I've been quite packed up with school lately. I've been doing my best in school and I think I am doing better than I did from the previous quarters I've had the past year. This will be the last quarter and I hope I'll be great!

So I'll be having a 3 days off, not the usual 2 days off because this Monday is the President's Day of our University Day and voila! We have no classes. Happy although we'll be having some tests and proects on the following. Well, that's how it goes.

I guess I am doing better now. I'm feelin' good. I've tried changing seats a lot of times- funny n' naughty. Lol

In fact, I have been reading more these days and also from the past months. I've bought a lot of books already and I enjoyed it so much. I am back with my "reading attitude" again. I read a lot when I was a kid, I always visit the library and join the contests our library had every month and I am very proud to say, I never lost in any of those, they gave certificates to all the winners and I am one of their faithful certificate receiver. I can still remember the contest's name it's Book-A-Thon. Those were during my grade school times. However, after I transferred school during my 4th grade, my reading times were quite less already although I still often visit the library but I guess the new, old rather library is not what I really liked. Dusty, many mosquitos, books are too old and not my 'type' some are for oldies while some are for babies *no book fits me -- I just don't like the aura and its atmosphere, it doesn't suits me. I missed the previous library I had, it's quite new, tiled, beautiful surroundings, cool, --I just love it. I always borrow books there but as far I can remember I never dared to borrow any book in the 2nd library I had. I missed the lovely library I had but it happened already.

Someday, I just want to come and visit that library which I loved ever since. Nevertheless, the library did not start my liking in reading books it just encouraged me more to read. When I was still super young, I guess I've been into reading books already. I remember my parents buys me books all the time - fictions <3>

And now during our third quarter in school we were supposed to read books as what our English teacher said (Ma'am Mary). She said that our major project for the third quarter will be a book report about any Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, and the Classic Tales books. It was fine for me because I love to read books but then I remembered that I haven't read any book for a long time except books in school like algebra, biology, history books. Well, sometimes those books aren't my types but I have to read it and it's not the feeling that you will feel when you read Novels, Fictional Books, in short books that you want - a story, a beautiful one. So it was okay for me but the first thing that came to me was that I don't like to read those books, Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys, I never read those and it looked quite thick and I felt that it was quite boring. Not my taste- in short. But not short enough, I loved it. I enjoyed reading it! It was fun! Mystery books were cool, I came back to my "reading attitude" again. I was happy! It's a stress- relieving hobby.

After that I had my book report, got good grades with it. I decided to visit a store in a nearby mall, the bookstore is called BOOKSALE , they sell used books from U.S. with very affordable price. I tried buying books like almost every 2 weeks every Friday or any time I have money and time. I loved it.

I realized that I have been buying books more often, I am very happy about that although most of my saved money are used for my loved books - I am still happy with it at least it'll do me good than wasting money for food which won't do good for me.

Now, I have more books piled up! I want to have more! I will =)

Weeks ago, 2 I think. My mom gave me a book- it's a novel type of books. She told me that my aunt gave it to her but she was quite too busy/lazy for it so she gave it to me. I was very happy! Though I have some doubts of it although the cover page was very pretty, I find it too think esp. it's a NOVEL, a NOVEL! I never read a novel- I think.

But I was willing to reading it and give it a try, it has good reviews which encouraged me. Sad thing was that I don't have any free time for me to read it. I was loaded with school, quizzes and projects here and there. Not until last night my dad told me to watch for the business and I decided that it'll be a good time for to read the book because I know that I'll be not in my room for the whole afternoon and I was right! I read the book, realized that I read a lot of pages already and I can feel the story, it was enjoying, sad, thrilling, mixed emotions. Until I finished reading it although I was wanting for more but it ended beautifully yet I find it not yet done. It was a BEAUTIFUL NOVEL. It was awesome! Now, my impression about novels aren't no longer that bad anymore. Novels are beautiful! Sometimes, we think that they are just too long but then when you read it there will a moment that you'll get hook with it.

Wonder what the mystery books is?It's no other than:

FAMILY HISTORY

After I read books, the lessons or the thoughts of the story won't fade away, it will be with me, guiding me for the rest of my life.
